Definition

An invoice is usually created when user delivers the items or services the customer ordered. Invoices can be in the status of Open (unpaid), Closed (paid) or Credit (negative sale). An invoice can’t be changed to a quote or an order.

 

 

 

General Route for Sales:

Customer > Sales Quote > Sales Order > Sales Invoice > Receive Payment >  Credit Note
